A Road Trip Down South

07.01.2012

Ola! I'm glad that I'm still pumped to blog! Got to catch up with blogging yo!

It was on this fateful day (chup! Advertisement sekejap: IT IS CHARMAINE'S BIRTHDAY! Ok moving on.......) that both Jess & I crashed Nick's company road trip to Johor Premium Outlet (JPO).

The thing is, I suspect I have this knack for sleeping extremely late when I know I have to wake up early the next day (flashbacks of 01.01.2012). Slept at about 2am again the night before, and woke up at 5.45am, and that was also after Nick called. I swear if he never called, I would have slept till 10.00am! Rushed the morning preparation (skipped breakfast T.T) and reached Wisma Genting just in time *phewh*

Slept for about 30 minutes in the bus when it came to a stop.........Seremban's R&R! Holy shizzles! Never knew a bus could fly that fast to Seremban. After all, it usually takes me approximately 1 hour to reach. Had our toilet break + breakfast there, then off we go again!

Slept for a good hour before I woke up feeling restless. To those that don't understand me, I can never sit still at one place for too long (except in bed). Hence, a switch to an empty spot by the window and...

SNAP SNAP SNAP! While emo-ing at the extremely hot weather, secretly wishing it will be cloudy in Johor.

Look at the hot weather!

Was busy playing games on my iPad and listening to songs when suddenly a loud crack came from behind the bus (mind you, I was already seated at the back of the bus, so it is pretty loud). Some thought we dropped something, some thought we went over something, I thought we were driving on freshly tared road. Stopped by the highway to find out that it's a broken tire belt. WONDERFUL!
Thankfully after about 30 minutes, another bus agreed to help us. I was almost afraid they will cancel the trip and replace it some other day.

Thank you Mr. Bus Driver!

Some random pictures we took on our way to JPO. Awake after the breakdown incident and somehow got started on the weird dreams we all have. Apparently, my constant weird dreams of snakes chasing after me is a good thing...sort of....and it has been proven! Now....where's the part where my prince charming appears?? Got to make myself start dreaming of more snakes!

Reached JPO soon after YAY! Am going to save you from having to read about how insanely awesome shopping there was. Here are some pictures (to give you a rough idea of how JPO looks like), courtesy of Nicholas Ng, for your viewing pleasure:

Burberry & Coach were a few of the most famous outlets there, seeing that long queues were formed outside the shop. No surprise though. If you're an avid fan of these two brands, you can get them at 40 % - 50% off!

Nick, going gaga over yellow & blue. Note: His old pair was blue, with yellow designs. New pair: Yellow, with blue designs. WHUTTTT???

If I have to list one thing that I do not like about JPO, it has got to be the FOOD. Ate at the food court and it tasted horrible! And to think we paid so much for it too! Tragic.

Our loot :)
